Genting Highlands

"Let the LIFE travels to Genting Highlands"

Genting Highlands (1700m above sea level) is a mountain peak within the Titiwangsa Mountains on the border between the states of Pahang and Selangor of Malaysia.
It can be reached by car from Kuala Lumpur in one hour. It is also accessible by the world fastest and South East Asia’s longest cable car called Genting Skyway. Genting Highlands was founded by the late Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong in the late 1960s.
Genting Highlands is also home to a 100 million year old forest.
Genting Highlands enjoys a cool climate, with temperatures no higher than 25°C and rarely falling below 14°C yearly.
Genting Highlands is the most developed hill resort in Malaysia. It offers a cool respite from Malaysia's capital city combined with all of the excitement, luxury, and entertainment of an international resort destination. In fact, many Malaysian people head for Genting Highlands specifically for its nightlife. It is sometimes informally known as the 'City of Entertainment' as it is the only legal land-based casino in Malaysia.
The resort also includes two theme parks, both with dozens of amusement rides and attractions suitable for the entire family. In addition, the Awana horse ranch offers equestrian activities, rides for children and lessons for beginners. For golfers, the Awana Golf and Country Resort offers a challenging 18-hole, par-71 golf course.
