2. The complete knowledge about the history and people of the place to be visited & also the climatic conditions to take suitable clothing etc. is always good. Also get the roadmaps and hot destinations flyers and small booklets.
3. Must have some cash for emergencies along with international credit card would be quite useful during the stay abroad.
4. One must remember to get a health insurance if going for long vacations in a foreign land where medical treatment is quite expensive. Besides must carry regular medicines for cough, cold or fever.
5. One should always enjoy traveling with less packing & remember to take a camera or a handy cam, for that is what will keep the sweet memories. Just keep the passport, money and all essential documents in a single pouch or hand bag. Light shoes are best way walking and big boots could do well if one is to go in mountains
6. It is always better & most importantly not to mix up with strangers while traveling & rely only upon government approved & licensed, authorized guides at the tourist attractions places.
