Cautious Traveling

"Let the LIFE travels with great caution"

Traveling to a foreign land for holidays one must be always vigilant and take a few extra precautions.

To begin with at the airports one must watch the bags as baggage theft is on the rise and half of the bags stolen are those left unattended. Thieves know that carry-on bags are where people carry their valuables and cash. Outside the airport too and anywhere on the road, never leave your bags unattended for a second, especially in Europe and Asia. Always have some one in the family to look after the bags and the younger kids while an adult goes off to get directions or a cab. Always remember to purchase a money belt or moneybag that one wears inside clothing. One should watch the pockets as people bumping into could very well be pickpockets, and people asking questions could be diverting the attention while an accomplice grabs one’s bag. This advice applies especially to tourist attractions and public transportation, as well.

One should know at the hotels during the stay where the emergency exit is in case of fire. Also show children how to call the front desk & in case of emergency which number to be called. One must not have a wallet full of credit cards while traveling. One is enough at a time & should leave any other important documents like passport & air tickets etc. with a friend or close relative.

One must remember that one can have a very enjoyable vacation while being careful and alert to the surroundings.
